Need an emotional boost before a workout, before work, or before a nervewracking sports game/competition?

According to an article on Synthtopia, listening to 50 minutes of dance music will not only increase antibodies in your system, but it will also decrease your stress levels! Read the whole thing here.

All you need are some blood pumpin' beats. And I hand-picked the best techno/house songs from iTunes.  These no-nonsense tracks will eliminate any need for caffeine or Xanax. They'll pump you up, calm you down and lift your spirits at the same time.

Download them as soon as you can:

No Stress (Club Mix)- Laurent Wolf

Time to Turn Around (JTM and JR Club Dub)- Denis the Menace & Jerry Ropero vs. Francesco Diaz

I Get What I Want (there are one or two explicit words in this one, just in case you're wondering...but the rest of the song is irresistible)- Denis the Menace & Jerry Ropero

Life is Too Short (full vocal mix)- Bonny Ferrer & Francesco Diaz

Stupidisco- Junior Jack

Pjanoo (Club Mix)- Eric Prydz

In the Sunshine (Francesco Diaz Mix)- Francesco Diaz & Denis the Menace

Sing It Back- Moloko

Tracking Treasure Down (Francis Prieve Mix)- Gabriel & Dresden & Mollycuddle

The Weekend (extended vocal mix)- Michael Gray

Watchin' (Radio Edit)- Amanda Wilson & the Freemasons

Lola's Theme (Extended Vocal Mix)- Shape UK

Star to Fall (Uniting Nations Remix)- Cabin Crew

Goodbye - Alexia

These songs are the only ones that make me sweat and give me goosebumps at the same time (because they're so brilliant- the chord changes, the beats, the vocals...fantastic). You've GOT to download them. NOW!

In the meantime, here's one sample track to get you going. It's "Time to Turn Around" by Denis the Menace and Jerry Ropero with Francesco Diaz. These guys play HOUSE. They don't mess around.

Without further ado, welcome to Club Holly...where the beat is always on.

How about speed metal? That's good if you're into going crazy at the gym, lifting heavy weights and stuff, maybe not suitable for fitness training...

...BUT AT LEAST MY HAIR STILL LOOKS GREAT!
